Proceeds from our third annual Summer Sizzle Celebration, ‘Great Rock Sing-Off,’ will benefit Charna’s Kids Club at the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Established by The Charna Radbell Foundation, Charna’s Kids Club, is a cost-free, therapeutic and recreational support program for school age siblings of seriously ill children. This program fosters self-expression and creativity, addresses the individual needs and interests of children who are coping with the illness of a sibling, and provides a happy place where children feel safe, valued, and loved. Each child is given the opportunity to better understand their surroundings, express their feelings, develop their coping skills, meet peers in similar circumstances, and most importantly, to reduce the stress and confusion so often associated with the hospitalization of a family member. Our mission is to create a sense of community in which the heart flourishes. In keeping with the spirit of our mission, The Charna Radbell Foundation is honored to be able to help thousands of patients and their families through its sibling program, Charna’s Kids Club.
